A STORY OVER 150 YEARS IN THE MAKING
By the 1850's, sheep farming had become well established in New Zealand and played an important role in our economy. After hitting a peak sheep population of over 70 million sheep in 1982, the wool industry declined as consumers moved onto cheaper synthetic alternatives, however with rise of the eco conscious and fabric savvy consumer, a wool renaissance has began.
